Adoption Update: More Good News!
Over the past three years it has seemed like we have gone long in every step of our adoption process. So maybe its not surprising that when we found out that after the government met with the birth parents, our final stretch would take about one month or two if they decided they needed to do a DNA on Meyer and his birth mom. They do this if there are any red flags (even small ones) in the interview or paperwork. We just found out that they will NOT need a DNA test - which means we should be traveling to bring our son home within a month or so!! God is good!

Steve & Gaye,
I've been wondering how the adoption was going and was so thrilled to run across the new blog! I'm so glad to hear your wait is coming to an end. Or should I say your new life is beginning??!! Keep us posted . . .
